Editor's review
This software lets drawings in PDF formats to be turned into industry standard DXF format. These then can be edited in programs like AutoCAD.
It is a windows program that will help you convert your PDF files to usable and editable DXF files quickly and easily. It is then very easy to recover the entities into DWG entities easily. If you do have a lot of PDF drawings to be converted, then this is something that can be used. To make things easy this software is a batch processor and the interface is geared to that. Much of the interface is given over to a display area for the batch list of files that you want to convert. The buttons help make the batch list creation quite easy. Output folder and some output options can be set. Thereafter, the process is a single click for conversion.
The software works independent of the AutoCAD or a similar program. Yet, it is able to retain the integrity of the drawing elements from the PDF to the DXF format. PDF layers are restored completely. All the pages in the PDF are extracted, as are any embedded raster images if the document contains any. It is a good idea to try it out and see if it fits your workflow. Remember, however, the trial download will work for 20 times only. It is easier to send out PDF to your collaborators who may not have CAD drawing software. However, you probably need the DXF format to have the freedom of changing, updating etc. In such a case a solution like this is the way out.
